Entrepreneur, author, and speaker Tim Ferriss once said,
“A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.”
Luckily for us, though, we don’t always have to be facing our fears 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Doing this constantly would be exhausting and too overwhelming for any individual to have to deal with.
Fortunately, all we need is about 20 seconds of courage. As Darren Hardy says,
“You don’t have to live courageously. In fact, you can be a coward 99.9305556% of the time (to be exact). You only need to be courageous for 20 seconds at a time.”
20 seconds is all you need to…

Make that call
Ask that question
Say “no” to someone
Have that conversation
Step on stage
Ask that person out
Take that risk
Even if it’s something small. Whatever it is, all it takes is 20 seconds of courage. After that, the noise in your head will start to fade away and you’ll be way better off because of it.
